Learn about the troops and the orphanage they have adopted in Iraq.
Meet the troops we are sending supplies to:
The soldiers are members of Palehorse Troop division of the Saber Squadron. Officially called 4th squadron, 2d Stryker Cavalry Regiment. This troop has approximately 200 soldiers, which is part of a total of 6 troops making up this Cavalry Regiment, which has a total of between 500-1000 soldiers based on the other troops responsibilities. They all share the same “general store” where items are sent for soldier use.
These troops have adopted Karkh Kids School/Orphanage which houses chilrend betwen the ages of 1 and 10. The supplies we send will go to both the troops and their orphange.
