Ken Medema
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1943, Ken has never been able to see with his physical eyes. His sight is limited to distinguishing between light and darkness and seeing fuzzy outlines of major objects. But this never limited his musical ability, which manifested itself at the tender age of five. By the age of eight, he was studying the classics with Braille music and playing and improvising by ear. The rest, as they say, is history. He has been a major performing and recording artist for over 30 years, singing in a wide variety of venues all over the world and recording albums for Word Music, Shawnee Press, and Brier Patch Music.
