From the West
-
From Atlanta Traveling on Hwy 316 or Hwy 78, take 316 into Athens.

Travel Hwy 316 for about 2 miles, 316 will cross over the Athens Perimeter (the 10 Loop).

Here the road becomes Epps Bridge Parkway. (Home Depot and Kroger will be on your right, Lowe's, Cracker Barrel and Wal-Mart will be on the left)

Travel on Epps Bridge 1 - 2 miles. The road will curve to the right and merge with Atlanta Highway.

After the merge, you will see two car dealerships, one on either side).

Continue straight on this highway - it will reduce to a four lane road. (When you pass the Varsity on the left, you will be able to see downtown).

Go several blocks, passing the Holiday Inn Express on the right.

Pulaski Street is just past the Holiday Inn Express, at a traffic light.

Turn left onto Pulaski Street. (The only choice).

First Baptist Church is located on the corner of Pulaski St. and Hancock Ave.

Turn left onto Hancock, (The church will then be on the right).

The main parking lot is behind the sanctuary, and accessed off of Hancock St.
From southbound I-85
-
Take the Commerce and Athens exit, and Highway 441.
-
Take this exit, heading south on Highway 441 toward Athens. (You will be about 30 - 35 minutes from Athens).

Remain on 441. When you pass the J & J Flea Market, and cross into Athens-Clarke County, you are getting close.

The road will widen at this point, into a four lane road, one of which is a turning lane. You will come to an overpass, which will be the 10 Loop.

Highway 441 is continued by taking the ramp to the right. Take the ramp to the right, before you pass under the bridge, and get on this highway. This is a divided highway.

Go to the second exit on this highway and take the exit ramp, to the right. This will be the Prince Avenue and Jefferson exit.

Remain in one of the two left lanes on the ramp so that you can turn left and travel over the bridge.

This will put you on Prince Avenue (and about 2 miles from the church).

Continue straight on this four lane road into downtown – approximately 2 miles. (The Athens Regional Medical Center will be on your right as you near downtown).

At the intersection of Prince Avenue and Pulaski Street turn right onto Pulaski Street. (First Baptist Church will be on your right - You will see a playground, and a large three story Octagonal shaped building; St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will be on your left, and the First Christian Church will be on the opposite left corner).

Hancock Avenue intersects Pulaski Street at the first traffic light.

Turn right onto Hancock, (The church will then be on the right).

The main parking lot is behind the sanctuary, and accessed off of Hancock St.
From Highway 129 (Jefferson and Gainesville)

Highway 129 will lead directly into downtown Athens.

Highway 129 crosses over the Athens Perimeter (The 10 Loop).

The name becomes Prince Avenue at this point.

Continue straight on this four lane road into downtown – approximately 2 miles. (The Athens Regional Medical Center will be on your right as you near downtown).
