Our Sanctuary Choir is the primary worship choir in the 11:00 AM service.  Each week they present anthems that are designed to underscore the theme of the church year and/or a special service theme.  This choir is composed of adults from age 18 and up.  The Sanctuary Choir presents special music for Christmas, Advent, Lent, and Easter, extended works during the year, and has combined with other choirs in the community to present special concerts. Also, the Sanctuary Choir has frequently been asked  to sing with the Athens Symphony at their annual Christmas Concerts.  The Sanctuary Choir has toured, having sung at the National Cathedral, Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, and at the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. This choir has a long history of singing a variety of church music from the early masters to music by the outstanding composers of today.
