Operation Inasmuch 2007 Projects
Thanks to all of the hard working Leaders and enthusiastic Helpers for making our first Operation Inasmuch a tremendous success!
- Toiletry packets were assembled for clients of the Athens Nurse's Clinic.
- A clothes closet low cost clothing store raised money and supplied a load of clothes for The Sparrow's Nest.
- Children were taken fishing at Sandy Creek Park.
- Four walls of a Habitat for Humanity house were raised.
- Volunteers helped with the Railroad Days fundraiser for the Council for Aging.
- One-hunderd toiletry packets were assembled for the Homeless Day Center.
- The porch, fence and foundation of the IHNA Day Center were scraped and painted.
- Yard work and home maintenance were done for two members of FBC.
- Food was sorted at the North East Georgia Food Bank in Athens.
- The food Committee prepared food and delevered lunches for the workers.
- Parkview playschool was painted and flowers were planted.
- 120 wheel-chair blankets were made and delidered to local nursing homes.
- A laundromat ministry provided quarters and food at several local laundromats.
- 27 boxes of care packages were assembles and sent to soldiers in Iraq.
- Gift certificates were collected for project SAFE.
