"O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless God’s name; tell of God’s salvation from day to day. Declare God’s glory among the nations, God’s marvelous works among all the peoples. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.”

 - Psalm 96:1-4

Worship . . . begins after the Sunday School hour and meets in the sanctuary. This service offers a full order of worship, with singing from our hymnal and graded choirs and the Sanctuary Choir leading worship. Our magnificent pipe organ is the primary instrument and is complimented by the piano and orchestra pieces for seasonal music. Worship includes a sermon, a children’s lesson, prayer, offerings, Communion, ordinations, child dedications, and baptisms.

“The purpose of liturgical participation is not simply to do liturgy better. Its two-fold purpose is the glorification of God and the equipping of Christians with power to carry out the witness and mission of the church in the world.”

Early Worship . . . starts before the Sunday School hour and usually meets in Fellowship Hall. Early worship enjoys intergenerational appeal and offers a simplified order of worship where multiple instruments are used, including the piano and guitar. Worship here includes singing, prayer, a sermon, and regularly scheduled Communion.
