Spiritual Growth

We aspire to be a spiritually– minded church.  Our members seek the assistance of the Holy Spirit in finding God’s will for their lives and in carrying it out.  Galatians 2:20 is a challenging place to start.  Paul said, “I have been put to death with Christ on His cross, so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me.” 

We are a prayer conscious church that aspires to become a prayer-directed church.  Individuals and groups in the church are experiencing the power of prayer.  We have come to realize that prayers may not be answered immediately.

We are an educationally-minded church.  The church provides Sunday School for all ages, Vacation Bible School for younger children and a weekly colloquium and special classes for adults.  We have, for example, offered a special class for mentally challenged children and a class for autistic children.

We are a family minded church.  We offer study courses to help parents and children interact with each other in loving ways, and we encourage families to do things together.  We especially welcome individuals, couples, and families who come from different church backgrounds in search of a place to worship and grow spiritually.
